Right to Be Forgotten

Ade’s Driving School respects your privacy and your right to request the erasure of personal data we hold about you. Under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, you have the “right to be forgotten” in certain circumstances.
What Does This Mean?
You can ask us to delete your personal information from our records if:
- The data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected
- You withdraw consent (where data was processed based on consent)
- You object to data processing and there’s no overriding legitimate reason to continue
- The data was processed unlawfully
- We’re legally required to delete it
How to Make a Request
To request data deletion, please contact us via email or phone. We’ll respond within one calendar month and confirm the action taken. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity before proceeding.

Exceptions
We may not be able to delete your data if:
- It’s required to meet legal obligations
- It’s necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims
- It must be retained for public interest, statistical or archival purposes (under certain conditions)
